Noisy surroundings need addressing!!! Shower pressure was inadequate, and the heating was unreliable, leading to discomfort. Key card access issues disrupted my convenience, while parking fees felt exorbitant!!! This hotel has significant room for improvement.

Really good Staff and Comfortable Stay
The room was spacious and well-equipped with pleasant amenities like complimentary water and quality toiletries. The breakfast offered a great selection, including freshly baked pastries and a variety of juices. The noise from the busy road outside was a bit disruptive at times.

The Hotel is in an excellent central location, quite efficient and with good professional staff.
Room Service is rather expensive together with its only asian restaurant. However, the food is very good.

Unbeatable location. Spacious and comfortable double bed, and a good range of bathroom amenities. Good breakfast, in spite of the little variety of bread. Great Restaurant Oaks, for dinner a good grilled meat, and very well attended.
The reception staff is clearly inexperienced, with a few exceptions. And among the breakfast staff there was a waitress who couldn't be more unfriendly (the others were nice and polite). There is no room on the street for passengers to get in and out, which is a problem the first time you arrive by car and don't know where the car park is or when you go by taxi, especially on a street like Maid Marian Way, one of the busiest streets in Nottingham. The bathtub/shower is a complete disaster: the water or it burns and freezes you, the surface is somewhat slippery, and being elevated getting out of it is dangerous. My wife (without any physical problems) needed my help to get out. The TV was another disaster. When I arrived it wasn't working, they had to come and fix it. And besides, there was no Spanish channel, and practically no international one (I think I remember only CNN, Aljazeera and TF1).

comfortable and convenient, late breakfast times were excellent for a relaxing break,
beds a little soft but that is just personal preference.

The room was spacious and comfortable with great mood lighting. The personalized welcome on the huge Samsung TV added a special touch. The staff at the reception were friendly. Enjoyed the delicious breakfast with a good variety of options. The cleanliness of the communal areas fell short. The floors in the lobby looked a bit dusty, and some tables in the dining area were not cleaned properly. The restaurant service seemed disorganized during peak hours, leading to longer waits for our drinks.

The hotel location is in the centre of nottingham and is walking distance to most amenities including local bars and restaurants. The rooms are clean and modern with updated access to technology. The reception staff are welcoming but could do better in expalining the benefits nottingham have to offer.
The breakfast setting and the food was appaling ...on sunday morning we had to wait 30 minutes to be seated and when seated constantly had to ask for milk, tea, tea spoon, fruit ..there was no fruit left and no quassons ..the staff were run ragged due to what was clearly a shortage of assistants...the english breakfast was so bad we opted for cerial instead.....i very rarely complain about service but this was diabolical to say the least...
